Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on 16 March, 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and well-known comedians. The comedian has been on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also than the stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Following appearances in bits on a number of Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea started her stand-up comedian in 2011. In 2012 she was on sitcoms or sketch comedy. After she received an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured frequently in panel programs. In 2016 and 2017 she was a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she has one sibling named Sinead. She was in 2012 the second woman to ever receive the So You think That You're Funny award. Bea was presented with the award to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who took his own life when Bea was only three years old though she did not know what happened to him until she turned 13. She chose the stage name Bea to honor her father who passed away. Bea also wrote an article for The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a former professional jockey. Their family was enthralled by race meetings and horses. Bea started her journey as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the racing industry wasn't the right fit for her.
